Romans 11:28 (KJV)
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
The gospel is for “whosoever will”. It is offered, available and effective to any and all.
- The Jew can receive the gospel
- The European can receive the gospel
- The American can receive the gospel
- The African can receive the gospel
- The oriental can receive the gospel
It is open to all and no one is excluded
But the election is of Israel. It hails all the way back to the promise to Abraham. It is carried forth in promises made to one succeeding generation of Israel after another.
Whosoever will may come and be saved. But God has promised, planned and determined that Israel will be saved.
