Revelation 14:6 One Gospel

Revelation 14:6 (KJV)
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

There are those who like to speak of the various ways of salvation:

  • That way of the Old Testament
  • That way of the New Testament
  • That way of the Tribulation

There is only one gospel. It is the glorious gospel, Christ’s gospel; the everlasting gospel or else it is another gospel which is not another.[1]

Every soul ever saved has been saved this same way, by believing this gospel and trusting Christ. Every soul that ever will be saved in the future will be saved exactly the same way.

It is an everlasting gospel. It was ordained before the foundation of the world and it, like its subject, Jesus Christ, changes not.

[1]Galatians 1:6-7 (KJV)I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
