2 Corinthians 4:1 This Ministry

2 Corinthians 4:1 (KJV)
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

The ministry Apostle Paul spoke of was the ministry of grace. It was despised in his day. It was misunderstood and maligned. But it was the ministry God has given him and he dove into it with all his being.

Now we have had a new sort of “ministry” thrust upon us. It is a ministry through the pandemic. It seems like there is no place on the planet that has not been impacted. It has reduced our church services to a small team to broadcast over the internet and radio. It has removed us from the faces of those we care for. It has left us with little to do but remain isolated and pray.

May we not faint. May we take in hand the tools available to us and wield them in the might of the Holy Ghost.

  • We can call
  • We can txt
  • We can encourage through electronic means

Lord, teach us to pray.
