Ezekiel 37:28 Dry Bones

Ezekiel 37:28 (KJV)
And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

The prophecy of Ezekiel 37, “The valley of dry bones” did not find its fulfillment in 1948. At best that event is a simple earnest of what God has promised. In order for it to be fulfilled, Israel must:

  • Unite as one nation
  • Submit to David as their one king
  • Follow one shepherd and
  • Observe and do God’s commandments

I think the valley of dry bones is a more fitting prophecy of the Tribulation Period, when God will once again, for seven years, take up his work in the Jews. They will gather, have a national identity become the focus of the world, endure death and hardship, but come out of it under one head in the Millennial Kingdom.

It will be then that heretical heathen groups, such as the Andersonites, will know that God has sanctified Israel.
