Romans 7:6 A Christian Ought To…

Romans 7:6 (KJV)
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Here is the thing, a Christian ought to:

  • Be a new creature
  • Live a new life
  • Have a new energy and therefore
  • Be a new man

None of us have yet become complete. We understand that we are growing from newborn babes in Christ unto spiritual maturity. We are not sinless in this life. We never attain the full maturity of the Lord until we reach heaven.

But there is something seriously wrong when a professing believer is as much the old man as he ever was before he was saved.
