Psalms 36:9 (KJV)
For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Light scatters the darkness and exposes those things unseen before. Imagine then what light can make light visible!
The brightness of the Lord was brighter than noonday sun for Saul of Tarsus and for the disciples on the mount of transfiguration.
That light revealed to the disciples the glory of the pre-Crucified Saviour.
He was revealed to be the Son of God. He was revealed to be the One they must hear.
That light revealed to Saul the Lord is
- He was revealed to be the true and living God.
- He was revealed to be the Saviour of the Jews and the Gentiles.
- He was revealed to be the One Saul had fought against.
Every man needs this light. Without it, he is in the dark while in the light. He can see philosophy, but he can’t see truth. He can see mathematics, but he can’t see truth. He can see science, but he can’t see truth. He can see morality, but he can’t see truth. He can see religion, but he can’t see truth. He can see love for others, but he can’t see truth. He can see politics, but he can’t see truth. He can see medical advancements, but he can’t see truth.
Light is all around him, but he is yet in the dark without the Light of God.
