Psalms 104:6-10 Science, I Say

Psalms 104:6-10 (KJV)
Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

This Psalm is a marvelous demonstration of the scientific nature of certain portions of the Word of God. Science, I say. Not the modern science so-called.

God’s Holy Spirit led the writer to observe:
That the waters once covered the mountains.
Evolutionary scientists so-called discover fossils of sea life on the tops of mountains and, in the same breath they proclaim their discovery, deny the Biblical Flood.

That there is a place God has “founded” for those waters
The Flood of Noah’s day receded at the command of God and remains in the borders He has laid around them.

That the streams and the valleys they flow through were the result of the work of God
The waters did not create the valleys over millions of years. Instead, the valleys were the work of God to return the waters to their place.

Simple observation, the basis of all true science, recognizes the reality of the Flood, the results of that Flood, and the promise of God to never destroy the world by Flood again.
